Founded by two photographers in 2003, we attach great importance to a fair and professional support of all participating photographers. When working with us we treat you like a true partner and do not only give you a number.
We mainly distribute motives in the German-speaking area, this is why our turnover does not come close to that of the international market leaders. Though, because of the additional income we receive by distributing your images through our agancy, you actively help us becoming increasingly independent from the few Microstock-market leaders. In this regard, you effectively support us maintaining realistic image prices and a fair share for photographers.
It definetly pays to distribute your images through our agency, since we only cooperate with approximately 100 photographers who prove to be especially innovative and successful. This allows us to personally support our photographers and simultaneously protect them from a mass of less sophisticated hobby-photographers submitting similar images in a smaller amount and thus, threaten to impair the images of our professionals. It ensures our agency, even in the long term, to remain attractive to the individual photographer.

Questions to resgistration and invoicing:
- Which quality criteria have to be fulfilled for the submission of my images?
The images have to be taken by a digital reflex camera with at least 6 Megapixel and must be submitted in JPEG format. The images have to look clean even when zooming the view to 100%.
When exporting from RAW-format, we recommend not to sharpen the images, to use Adobe-RGB color space and the second highest JPEG compression.
- Can I offer my images to other agencies aswell?
We explicitly state, that the marketing of your images through our agency is not exclusive. You continue to be the owner of your image material and are free to offer it to agencies of your choice. Via e-mail you receive a sales notification for every order giving you access to detailed sales statistics.
- How do I directly register as a photographer?
Our agency does not allow a direct registration. Please fill out the form seen below and leave a link to your images (e. g. to your own website or another agency). We will contact you shortly and once your registration is approved you receive an e-mail containing the access data for your personal photographer account.
- Why do you only register such a small number of photographers?
We cooperate with a limited number of photographers and thus ensure the system to be long-term attractive for the individual photographer. When you are interested in working with us you can be sure to sell motives through our agency in regular intervals.
- At what prices are you offering the images?
The price levels vary from 3,00 - 18,00 Eur depending on the resolution of the images. In addition to that, we negotiate profitable rabates (e. g. discounts on large image orders) or surcharges for extended image rights in individual cases (e. g. for merchandise products).
- How do I receive my sales shares?
Our photographers receive a share of 50 % for the image sales. The payment of the shares is processed automatically at the end of each month. The payment reference can be seen on the credit advice when reaching a free definable minimum amount and the amount will automatically be transferred to your account.

- How do you take the images into the system?
For our photographers there are 3 options available: You can regularly send us a data carrier (CD/DVD), upload the images individually through a browser or upload a large number of images using a FTP-program. The images can be tagged one day after they have been released by our management. Optionally, we offer a fee-based tagging service as an alternative.
- How are the images tagged?
When entering an image, already existing IPTC-data will be transferred from your images. The further entering process and categorial classification of the images is run through your photographer account, using the browser. This only works under consideration of the keyword rules of adpic. The keywords has to be entered in German and will be automatically translated into other languages.
- How much do photographers have to pay for the enty-service?
Our staff professionally and directly enters the images for a small fee of only 27 cents for each motive. As our service takes care of everything, you only need to send your images to us. You take the photos, we do the rest!
- How long does it take for the images to be uploaded?
Due to performance reasons every change of the image status can only be updated overnight. Thus, the image goes through the following steps (1. Upload by the photographer, 2. Release by our agency, 3. Entering either by the photographer or the agency, 4. Activation).
- Is it also possible to offer rights managed images to adpic?
No, it is not. All images need to be free of restrictions for the commercial use. Therefore, the checking of possible rights of third parties is necessary.
- Who clarifies, wether there are possible rights of third parties?
The photographer is obligated to check whether rights of third parties have been violated. On this account, please only upload images to adpic after all agreements are made (e.g. model- or property release). In this respect, the photographer takes the full responsibility. In case of doubt we recommend to skip the concerning image.
